Following the Reiki Precepts as a daily part of my life has allowed me to spiritually grow and meet wonderful people along the way.

After receiving a Reiki Session from my Master Teacher, we fell into discussion about animal spirit guides and how my guides may reveal themselves to me.

Days later, while driving, a large Red Tail Hawk swooped in front of my car, glided in ahead of me for a moment then swept back up into the skies. I thought nothing of it.

A few weeks later, I'm returning from the beach and decide to stop at  diner with my wife.

We walk passed a van which had a few tables lined with paintings besides it, I noticed this young man sitting in the back of the van, shielded from the heat, and drawing,  The mother greeted us and began to promote the work of her son, the very talented artist with autism.

I felt this immediate need to buy a painting but unfortunately I wasn't carrying cash on me. 

As we sat inside the climate controlled diner, waiting for our food, my thoughts went back to to the fierce dedication of the mother has in supporting  her son's artistic talents. 

I also thought of how many people  would have passed by her van, so engulfed in their lives that wouldn't even have the compassion  to listen to their story or  make a donation no matter how small.

Before the plates were on the table,  I went to the ATM and withdrew an amount to donate.

Outside, I glanced at few pieces of work, undecided until I came across a crate and instantaneously I made my selection. Holding it up to show which drawing I selected, Peter calls out, " Thats a Red Tail Hawk."

After the purchase, I mentioned to Peter that he was very talented and he responded, " I'm going to make a lot of money so I can go to Hollywood and then become an Angel." Those words stuck me deep chord within me and I will never forget meeting the talented The Artist Peter.
